Principal

We are thrilled to announce the promotion of two outstanding Special Counsel to Principal:

• Mitchell Hauser, Brisbane: A respected practitioner with deep expertise in insurance litigation and a strong commitment to client service and team development. Mitchell defends public and product liability claims, as well as professional indemnity disputes and workers compensation claims. He has a specialised focus on injury liability and contractual liability.
• Mariam Morad, Brisbane: Known for her strategic thinking and collaborative leadership, Mariam is highly regarded for her expertise in coverage issues and defence of public liability claims, specifically in relation to personal injury claims under Queensland’s Personal Injury Proceedings Act regime, and property claims.

Special Counsel

We are delighted to welcome two exceptional lawyers to the Special Counsel ranks:

• Emily Brett, Brisbane: A trusted advisor in professional indemnity and public liability claims, with significant experience advising and defending health and medical professionals across a range of complex matters.
• Hanna Kim Hong, Sydney: Recognised for her consistent delivery of high-quality legal outcomes, Hanna specialises in commercial lines including financial institutions, warranty and indemnity, directors and officers liability and professional indemnity.
