Hanna specialises in commercial lines including financial institutions, warranty and indemnity, directors and officers liability and professional indemnity. Hanna regularly advises Australian and London clients in complex and high profile matters and has experience acting as coverage or defence counsel in disputes including in class action proceedings, across varied jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Gilchrist Connell, Hanna was a litigation counsel for a global brokerage for several years. With her technical expertise and unique insights gained from working in-house, Hanna’s clients trust her to provide timely and tailored advice to assist them in meeting their objectives.
Hanna has a keen interest in climate law and its impact on insurance and litigation and regularly updates her clients on sustainability and ESG.
Hanna was a finalist for ‘Insurance Lawyer of the Year’ in the 2021 Lawyers Weekly Corporate Counsel Awards.
