Gilchrist Connell strengthens national health team
Gilchrist Connell, a leading insurance sector law firm, is pleased to welcome three new Sydney-based senior hires to its national Health team. The new hires expand our existing team of Sydney-based health law practitioners and significantly increases our capability to service clients with any health law needs in the NSW jurisdiction and across the country in Medicare matters.
Karine Marianne (Principal) has worked exclusively in health law with industry leading MDOs to support their members across a range of health practice, including doctors, radiologists, dentists, pathologists, pharmacists, private hospitals, and alternative health care providers. In addition to her strengths as a litigator in civil claims and managing coronial inquests, Karine has specialist experience with Medicare PSR audits and reviews, hospital investigations, complaints to disciplinary bodies, and criminal matters.
Lauren Antonini (Senior Associate) brings a wealth of experience in health law, where she leverages over 16 years of experience representing health professionals in civil litigation, complex and high-profile AHPRA and HCC prosecutions, coronial inquests, Medicare matters, and actions by the NSW Medical Council.
Natalie Donnan (Senior Associate) has extensive experience in defending Local Health Districts and healthcare professionals in both litigated and pre-litigated claims, as well as in coronial inquests and sensitive matters.She has strong experience in complex and large-scale legal proceedings to draw from.
