
Zahra is a Senior Associate in our national Workplace team. She brings extensive experience in employment relations and employment law, combining in‑house and consulting expertise with a practical, human‑centred approach.
She advises clients across both the federal Fair Work system and Western Australia’s state industrial relations system, providing guidance on compliance, awards and legislation and helping organisations navigate complex employment frameworks across jurisdictions.
Her practice includes defending unfair dismissal, general protections and discrimination claims, and acting in significant wage underpayment matters. She drafts and negotiates enterprise agreements across multiple industries and collaborates with unions to achieve client objectives. Known for resolving disputes early, Zahra focuses on cost‑effective outcomes that minimise disruption for employers.
Zahra also conducts workplace investigations into grievances and complaints of bullying and sexual harassment. Her human‑centred approach ensures investigations are thorough, fair and considerate of all parties involved and delivers clear, actionable recommendations.
