Kristina is a special counsel in the Corporate, Regulatory and Insurtech team. She specialises in advising on corporate and regulatory matters for the insurance industry with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, regulatory licensing and distribution, corporate governance and compliance for the insurance sector.
Kristina has experience in Australia advising on acquisitions, disposals and restructuring using transfer schemes; regulatory investigations conducted by Australian regulators; and all aspects of the Australian regulatory regime.
Kristina has experience in the United Kingdom advising on mergers and acquisitions in the insurance sector; reinsurance arrangements; pension scheme de-risking; transfers of insurance business; schemes of arrangement; and on all aspects of the UK regulatory regime. Kristina has advised multiple insurers on their Brexit contingency planning and strategy.
Kristina takes a commercial and collaborative approach to working with clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
