Jessica is an experienced insurance and dispute resolution lawyer with over 10 years’ experience. Jessica acts in the defence of personal injury, general liability, and professional indemnity claims across a wide range of sectors. She is also experienced in insurance indemnity and coverage disputes.

Jessica has extensive experience responding to institutional abuse claims on a national basis having held an in-house claims role for a number of years. She also has experience in responding to secondary victim claims and settlement revisits. This experience provided Jessica with the opportunity to understand the unique needs of her clients when responding to sensitive claims.

Jessica has represented church authorities, schools, and associations responding to allegations of historical child abuse, bullying, harassment and fatal injuries. She also has considerable in-house experience considering complex insurance related matters including the availability and extent of insurance coverage across the range of insurance products, claims notifications and the allocation of insured and uninsured liabilities.

Jessica also pursues contribution/recovery claims and defends recovery actions under workers compensation statutory schemes.

Jessica is experienced in the defence of professional negligence claims, including against real estate agents, property managers, and sports and gym facilities. She is also experienced in the defence of disciplinary investigations and proceedings.
