Jason expertly manages litigation for insurers across all lines and categories of insurance, in particular product, public and professional liability claims. He has considerable experience in insurance indemnity disputes, in particular fraud cases and policy interpretation advice. Defending insurance claims across the spectrum of insureds, Jason’s clients range from specialist community insurers to major international insurers, as well as several major brokers and Lloyds Syndicates. He has considerable experience in the property and education sectors and has advised many insurers, real estate professionals, schools and teachers on claims and potential claims against them.

Jason is a regular presenter on insurance topics for both legal and non-legal audiences. He has served on the Ethics Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) for over 10 years, and is a past recipient of the Legal Ethics Award from LIV. A Vice President of the Australian and New Zealand Education Law Association, he received the Rogers Legal Writing Award for his article in the Law Institute Journal on professional negligence in education.

Jason has been named in the Asia Pacific Legal 500 for Insurance in consecutive years and is recognised in the Insurance Law category of Best Lawyers.
