Jade has practiced in insurance law since her admission. She is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Jade’s professional indemnity and financial lines practice involves assisting with complex claims against a variety of professionals and associations, with a specialty in claims against migration agents, accountants, in defamation, pursuant to the Australian Consumer Law and those brought by self-represented litigants. She has considerable experience in providing coverage advice and dealing with regulatory bodies.
Jade also has a public liability practice and deals with simple claims through to multi-party, multi-million dollar catastrophic claims.
With her keen understanding of claims management, Jade sets strategy to seek to resolve claims at the earliest opportunity for the most favourable outcome. She runs claims from early investigation through to resolution, including preparation for mediations, settlement conferences and negotiated outcomes. She brings a careful, analytical approach to assessing liability exposure and quantum risk and is well‑versed in the legislative and claims management frameworks. Jade is valued for her disciplined approach, technical accuracy and commercial awareness.
Jade is a current member of the Western Australian committee of the Australian Professional Indemnity Group and was previously the Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of the Western Australian branch of the Young Insurance Commission.
