Ellen has over 12 years’ experience in civil litigation, across a wide range of practice areas. She represents her clients across a number of jurisdictions with extensive experience in both South Australia and Western Australia.
Ellen is an experienced litigator having appeared and instructed counsel in matters in the Magistrates Court, District Court, Supreme Court and Federal Courts and is admitted to appear before the High Court of Australia.
She works with several major insurers Australia wide, as well as claims management businesses. Ellen specialises in motor vehicle recoveries and settlements. She manages a high volume portfolio of subrogated recoveries and defended motor vehicle and property damage claims. In addition, she has extensive experience defending credit hire claims.
Ellen prides herself on her commonsense and down to earth approach. She is a skilled negotiator and aims to achieve a positive and cost effective resolution for her clients at the earliest opportunity.
Ellen works with insurers training their staff in establishing internal procedures to reduce their financial exposure.
