He joins Gilchrist Connell from a nationally recognised labour law firm where he predominantly advised a wide range of non-corporate clients from minimum wage earners to C-Suite executives. With significant plaintiff-side experience, Arthur is uniquely positioned to offer his corporate and insurer clients insight into the way their opponents may be thinking.
Arthur has significant experience acting for clients in litigated disputes involving termination of employment, statutory discrimination, bullying and harassment, employee entitlements, industrial instruments and common law contracts of employment.
In turn, he has experience acting for clients in almost all relevant state and federal jurisdictions and appears regularly in the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Federal Court of Australia.
As a keen advocate, he enjoys representing clients in a wide variety of dispute resolution forums in order to achieve best-case commercial outcomes.
