Shauna Gerrand is Gilchrist Connell’s Chief People & Development Officer, having joined the firm in 2018. Her extensive experience with industry leaders in construction, media, telecommunications, and one of Australia’s largest law firms has been highly advantageous in developing the firm’s progressive people strategy, bringing further diverse skills to the executive team.
As Chief People & Development Officer, Shauna drives key priorities for the firm on people related matters including organisational change, performance, talent acquisition, and development. Passionate about providing an environment for the firm’s 125 employees that is rewarding, challenging and embraces both work and personal goals, Shauna delivers national initiatives that continue to build the firm’s uniquely positive culture.
A top priority for Shauna is to ensure the firm maximises its national presence and maintains dynamic team structures to deliver on a diverse and exciting range of work. Shauna also promotes a supportive and collaborative ethos across the firm, including close access to senior leaders – a hallmark of the firm’s workplace culture since opening in 2008.
