Gilchrist Connell promotes again in Adelaide

Gilchrist Connell acknowledges its exceptional talent with the national specialist insurance law firm announcing the promotion of Adelaide based solicitor Julia Cudsi to Senior Associate.

Julia’s promotion adds further depth to the growing pool of experienced senior lawyers in Gilchrist Connell’s Adelaide office, and continues a busy year for promotions across the firm.

Julia was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2008. Prior to joining Gilchrist Connell she spent four years in the insurance and corporate risk team of an Asia‐Pacific law firm. Julia’s current practice includes defendant professional indemnity claims, public liability and personal injury claims (including catastrophic injuries), property damage claims, recovery actions, corporate fraud, and compulsory third party injury claims (in South Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland).

Julia has finely honed advocacy skills participating as junior Counsel in the District Court of New South Wales as well as acting as Counsel on numerous occasions in the Magistrates’ Court, District Court and Supreme Court of South Australia.

She is committed to the advancement of the insurance legal services industry and is the current South Australian Vice‐President of the Young Insurance Professionals, and also serves on the board of a SA non‐ profit organisation.
